What Information We Collect

When you use the Site, we collect certain types of information that can reasonably be connected to your identity or your device (“Personal Information”), including technical information about the way you interact with our Site, or Personal Information you voluntarily provide.   1. Registration and Donating. Before making a donation through our Site, you will be prompted to provide certain personal information, including but not limited to your name, billing addresses, phone number, email address, and credit card number. This Personal Information is used for billing purposes, to fulfill your donation, to communicate with you about your donation, and for internal marketing purposes. When placing a donation, you may create a customer profile and save your personal information for future visits, or you may check out as a guest. If, after creating a profile, you would like to have it deleted, please email us at and allow one to two weeks for the processing of your request.

  2. Newsletters and Promotional Materials. Some areas of the Site allow you to enter your email address for purposes of registering for the FEED newsletter and/or other promotional materials. If you receive promotional materials from us through email and would like to unsubscribe, directions for unsubscribing from these communications can be found in the body of each such promotional email. We may also collect your mobile phone number, if you have consented to receipt of marketing materials via SMS text message by signing up on our Site or providing a designated keyword via text message to a pre-designated number. This sign-up indicates that you agree to receive marketing and product information via text message. Where required by law, we will seek your consent before sending direct marketing communications to you via email or text message. In such circumstances, you have the right to withdraw consent to marketing at any time by contacting us (see “Contact Us”).

  3. Cookies. “Cookies” are text files that are placed on a user’s hard drive during a visit to the Site to enable the user to more easily communicate and interact with our Site. Cookies are used to provide customers with tighter security, customized content, and the ability to track orders and shopping cart contents across browser restarts. We may also collect information about your activity on our Site, such as the browser you are using, your IP address, and pages visited on our Site. Your Web browser can be set to allow you to control whether you will accept cookies, reject cookies, or to notify you each time a cookie is sent to you. Unfortunately, visitors who turn off cookies may not be able to make donations through this Site and may lose some Site functionality. We may also de-identify and aggregate user data. Once de-identified and aggregated, it is no longer Personal Information subject to this Privacy Policy.

We may provide Personal Information to third parties whom we engage to perform services in connection with the operation of our business to the extent necessary for them to perform their specific function. Examples of these services include payment processing and authorization, fraud protection and credit risk reduction, product customization, order fulfillment and shipping, marketing and promotional material distribution and research, Site evaluation, data analysis and, where applicable, data cleansing. 

For U.S. residents, we market only in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and other applicable law. Where you have provided your express opt-in consent to marketing, we will also share information with our business partners. For example, we will share information with business partners who assist us with direct mail marketing. These business partners may share your information with subcontractors and may use the information provided for their own marketing purposes where you have agreed to them doing so. You can ask us or third parties to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by following the opt-out links on any marketing message sent to you.

Advertising and Analytics Services Provided by Others

We may allow others to provide analytics services and serve advertisements on our behalf across the web and on the Site. FEED is based in the United States and we process and store information in the U.S. Therefore, please be aware that any information you provide to us may be transferred to the United States in accordance with applicable data protection laws. If you are a resident of a jurisdiction outside the U.S.  and you use the Site, your Personal Information may be stored or accessed outside of your jurisdiction of residence including by our affiliated companies or by third party service providers. This means that your Personal Information will be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is stored or accessed including the access rights of the government of that jurisdiction. By providing us with any information through the Site or over the phone, to the extent governed by this privacy policy, you consent to this transfer. If you do not wish for your Personal Information to be stored or accessed outside of your jurisdiction of residence you have the option of not using the Site. Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information online from users in this age group.

Do Not Track Signals

FEED does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals to the extent received from a web browser. Because there currently is not a universally accepted technological or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals as reflections of user choice, we do not respond to them at this time. Once such technology is created and has received applicable regulatory approval, we will consider (a) whether it is possible; and (b) if so, how it can be incorporated within FEED’s environment in the future.

Any updates or changes to the terms of this Privacy Policy will be posted here on our Site and the date of the newest version posted below.
